AMERICANAFEST 2018
AMERICANAFEST is a premier annual music event in Nashville celebrating the depth and diversity of Americana music. In 2018, Amazon Music’s Today in Music series produced a roundtable discussion featuring standout artists including Jason Isbell, Margo Price, John Prine, Brandi Carlile, Dave Cobb, and Amanda Shires.
As Producer and Director, I led the project from initial concept through final delivery. This included developing the creative approach, managing stakeholder communications with internal Amazon Music leadership, and ensuring alignment across creative, marketing, and social teams. I managed a hybrid crew, overseeing both internal Amazon video personnel and freelance talent, while coordinating all equipment rentals and logistics in Nashville.
I built detailed production timelines, managed the production budget, and handled vendor payments to keep the project on schedule and within scope. On-site, I directed the roundtable shoot and supporting interviews, and oversaw post-production workflows to deliver long-form and social cutdowns for Amazon Music channels.
The roundtable discussion, hosted by Adam Steiner, explored the artists’ creative origins, inspirations, and current work. The campaign helped raise Amazon Music’s visibility at AMERICANAFEST and was featured in Rolling Stone, significantly amplifying its reach and brand presence in the Americana music community.
